Hickory Chips does large events!  Here are some pictures of events we've participated in that feed thousands of people. Having a large event for more than a thousand? No problem! We can handle it.

THANK YOU once again for providing a meal for an event at Greater Lynchburg Habitat for Humanity!  Since last summer, you have been a great friend to us, and your meals are greatly appreciated and much anticipated.  Everyone here loves your BBQ and all the fixings!

The last meal you provided us, on March 12, 2009, was a volunteer lunch we hosted during our “Collegiate Challenge”.  Each March, groups of high school and college kids across the nation give up their spring breaks and volunteer to work with Habitat here in Lynchburg.  The least we can do is provide great meals for these hard-working kids, and you really came through for us!  Over 75 volunteers and staff truly enjoyed the lunch you provided.

We are always looking to increase our volunteer involvement, so if you run across anyone in your travels who is looking for a rewarding volunteer experience, please send them our way.

We’re already looking forward to the next time you feed us!
